Unexpectedly Amazing Experience at Pacific Catch – 5 Stars! I stopped by Pacific Catch in Walnut Creek around 5:30 PM after nearly a year abroad. The moment I walked in, I asked the hostess—Rodaba if I could use the restroom. Now, let me tell you, she gave me this sharp, slightly feisty look, with eyebrows raised and lips pursed like she had memorized the guest policy word-for-word. She told me, "Restrooms are for guests only." I get it—rules are rules—but I told her I’m a regular, just haven’t been around lately due to travel. Her expression didn’t change much, but I could tell she was a little skeptical... and maybe slightly annoyed when I asked if she could check with the manager. (LOL, sorry Rodaba!) To my surprise, she did check in with Manager who happened to be right behind her, Gabriel, once she confirmed, she graciously let me use the restroom. That moment turned from tension to a spark—I swear, Rodaba gave me this deep, locked-in stare, the kind of stare that makes time slow down. Mesmerizing, intense, and honestly... unforgettable. After that brief adventure, I returned and told her I’d try the bar. Only two seats were open, neither appealing, so I came back and asked her for a table for two—my son was joining me. Without missing a beat, she led us to the back patio, offering a few options. We chose a shaded table in a quiet corner—perfect spot. Then came Evelin, our server, who was absolutely wonderful. Friendly, upbeat, and informative. She walked me through the menu like I was a first-timer all over again. I went with a Trumer Pils (German Pilsner), a Coke, and their always-satisfying Fish and Chips. The ambiance was lively, with live music filling the patio, great energy all around, and top-tier service from both Rodaba and Evelin. That initial spark of feistiness turned into a fun, memorable welcome back. It was an experience full of personality, flavor, and great vibes—Pacific Catch still has it, and I’ll definitely be back much sooner this time.

I came here for my birthday, and Jenny (bartender/server) was amazing. It was our first time there, and she was very patient and friendly, explaining the menu to us. The food was fantastic, and the shrimp were on point. Manager Gabriel is also very courteous and made sure we were all happy with our food. Came ba k again and tasted the salmon chowder, and that was AMAZING.... I LOVED IT.....Great food and atmosphere, keep up the great work.

Great experience! We ate outdoors, adequate social distancing and precautionary measures taken. I got the Japanese Wasabi poke bowl that was very flavorful, fresh, and filling. I also noticed that there was plenty of ahi included on the plate, which was a nice surprise as most places skimp out on the protein. Great service, nice venue. Recommend trying!

This was such a great dining experience! The ambience is amazing with the river so close. If you sit outside you can listen to the sound of the water flowing while you eat your food. The staff were very friendly and gave really great recommendations. The portions were quite big so it’s definitely value for money! I loved the Wagyu Cheeseburger, it was delicious. Their seasoned fries are amazing! I couldn’t stop eating them!

We came here for the first time today for our anniversary. We ended up meeting our waitress in the elevator. She was awesome and so was all the staff. The food was amazing! Definitely will be back! Thanks Genesis for all the recommendations and the great service! My food was the chimichurri sea bass looks plain, but so many great flavors! It was all delicious!!

Nice customer service with good at atmosphere and really nice food and outside table and chairs are fantastic.

I had a friend from out of town ask for “healthy food” for lunch. There were so many delicious and well presented options here that we both had a difficult time choosing. Once we made a choice, the waiter offered us an additional option that was even better with crab! We took his advice, and we both ordered the Double Rainbow Sushi Bowl. The watermelon lemonade was delightful on a hot day. The food was very fresh - especially our greens. The crab salad was the perfect protein and it was surprisingly light. The atmosphere was perfect for two friends catching up. My friend was delighted with the food. The wait staff was extremely attentive. We will definitely be back.
